What personal data we collect

• Identity and contact data: name and email address from your Google or Apple sign-in.
• Health and profile data: age, sex, height, weight, relationship status, work status, shift hours, dietary preference, health conditions, fitness goal, mood entries and daily logs.
• Usage and device data: app interactions, reminder preferences, device identifiers, IP address and browser information.
• Support data: messages you send to customer support.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Generate personalised meal and workout plans;
• Track your daily progress, weight, water intake and mood;
• Send in-app reminders and optional browser notifications;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Provide customer support and improve the service;
• Keep the app secure and prevent fraud.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of performance of our contract with you (account and plan delivery), our legitimate interests (security, support and product improvement), your consent (optional notifications and health data you choose to share), and compliance with legal obligations.

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, which handles payments, subscription management, tax, invoicing and refunds on our behalf.
• Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics and support tooling that help us run the app.
• Professional advisers: legal and accounting professionals when required.
• Authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We keep your account and health data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal data within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law. Backup copies may take additional time to purge.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise your rights, email us at support@fitcoach.app. We will respond within one month.

Security

We use encryption, access controls and other technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
